The Guelph Mercury
Monday October 25, 1999

Congratulations are in order for Reid's Heritage Homes' Village By The Arboretum.

It's the winner of the 1999 Most Outstanding Adult Lifestyle Project award by the Ontario Homebuilder Association. The category is part of the association's annual sales and marketing awards, simply known as the SAMs.

Village sales representative Judy Phillips said this is the first year for the Most Outstanding Adult Lifestyle Project award. The Village By The Arboretum is an upscale community on Stone Road, adjacent to the University of Guelph's sprawling lands.

Guelph-based First Line Seeds is teaming with the federal Agriculture Agri-Food Canada department to develop food grade soybeans for the Asian market, the company has announced.

The co-operative research project strives to combine the best genetics of Canadian and Asian soybeans. Work is to be conducted over the next four years.
